Rhue also publishes in magazines, including: Cape Fear's Going Green and Good Life Wilmington. She has been published in WILMA twice. She won the scholarship award for WILMA’s Women To Watch in 2020.

Artist
Rhue is also a copyeditor. She has edited for Cape Fear's Going Green, WILMA, and currently Third Person Project. Education is in publishing, with a heavy focus on copyediting.
Rhue is an artist that has experience in multiple types of visual art. She does both digital and traditional art. She uses Procreate on an iPad for digital art. For traditional, she specializes in painting, and has experience with multiple mediums, including oil, acrylic, and watercolor. She also has worked with colored pencil, charcoal, ink, pencil, printmaking, collage, pastel, as well as mixing these for multimedia pieces. She recently began doing woodworking/pyrography. She does most pieces in the genres of Realism or Romanticism. She has done portraits as well as landscapes, and can incorporate people and/or animals. She has filled requests, doing art pieces for clients.
